Its sculptural texture and carefully balanced colours bring character to contemporary living rooms, studies and lounge spaces.

A broad midnight blue band sweeps across an ivory ground. A golden-yellow disc and cropped terracotta arcs meet this movement, bringing tension to the rectangular composition.

Design inspiration – Bern Hours in Orbit

Hours in Orbit considers time as a relationship between circling forms. Bern's astronomical clock inspires a design in which movement and stillness coexist. The dark sweep carries the eye across the surface, while the warm disc provides a fixed point of reference. Incomplete circles hint at a continuation beyond the rug's edges. From a distance the composition feels clear and graphic; close up, wool adds a softer, quieter dimension. The design reinterprets the city's timekeeping as a contemporary object for the home. It is particularly at ease in interiors where a few bold forms sit alongside art, pale timber and warm metal accents.

Key features

Premium quality: Hand-tufted with a New Zealand wool pile for a soft, substantial feel and a naturally matte finish.

Exclusive IDekron design: An original design from IDekron's Swiss city collection.

Inspired by Bern: Hours in Orbit considers time as a relationship between circling forms.

Colour palette: Ivory, midnight blue, muted golden yellow and terracotta.

Craftsmanship: Gently raised geometric surfaces and carefully carved curves lend the graphic pattern a restrained sense of relief.

Styling: A distinctive focal point for modern living rooms, quiet workspaces and city apartments furnished with art.

Ideal for

Living rooms · Bedrooms · Studies · Reception and lounge areas · Contemporary city apartments

Care instructions

Vacuum gently and regularly using suction only, without a rotating brush.
