Its sculptural texture and carefully balanced colours bring character to contemporary living rooms, studies and lounge spaces.

Overlapping arches in beige, ivory and taupe organise the rectangular surface. Dark recesses give the pattern depth, while broad, simplified pillars suggest architecture without intricate ornament.

Design inspiration – Bern Arcade Rhythm

Walking through Bern's arcades means moving between light, shadow and a succession of arches. Arcade Rhythm translates that experience into a soft textile composition. Interlocking forms lead the eye from one area to the next. Warm stone colours establish a sense of calm, while dark openings bring the lighter surfaces forward. Proportion and repetition give the design its character. In wool, the architecture becomes more intimate and approachable while retaining its clarity. This is a rug for rooms where natural materials, carefully chosen furniture and understated art meet. Its connection to Bern is felt in the rhythm of the design and its sense of continuity.

Key features

Premium quality: Hand-tufted with a New Zealand wool pile for a soft, substantial feel and a naturally matte finish.

Exclusive IDekron design: An original design from IDekron's Swiss city collection.

Inspired by Bern: Walking through Bern's arcades means moving between light, shadow and a succession of arches.

Colour palette: Sandstone beige, ivory, taupe and charcoal.

Craftsmanship: Subtle changes in pile height lift the arch bands above the ground; gentle carving emphasises the generous curves.

Styling: A distinctive focal point for modern living rooms, quiet workspaces and city apartments furnished with art.

Ideal for

Living rooms · Bedrooms · Studies · Reception and lounge areas · Contemporary city apartments

Care instructions

Vacuum gently and regularly using suction only, without a rotating brush.
