Its sculptural texture and carefully balanced colours bring character to contemporary living rooms, studies and lounge spaces.

Large areas of parchment, oat beige and pale stone grey overlap like loose sheets of paper. Three sparing black lines add drawn accents, while changes in pile texture emphasise the layers within the stepped, irregular outline.

Design inspiration – Basel Paper Memory

Basel's papermaking heritage inspires Paper Memory, a design that recalls sheets folded, lifted and laid down again. Their traces suggest the work of the hand without spelling out a message. Subtle differences between warm neutrals take the place of light and shade; dark strokes resemble the beginnings of a drawing still taking shape. The irregular outline moves beyond the conventional rectangle, giving the rug the independence of an art object. Wool brings weight and softness to the idea of paper. Paired with pale timber, natural stone and pared-back furniture, Paper Memory quietly connects material history with contemporary living.

Key features

Premium quality: Hand-tufted with a New Zealand wool pile for a soft, substantial feel and a naturally matte finish.

Exclusive IDekron design: An original design from IDekron's Swiss city collection.

Inspired by Basel: Basel's papermaking heritage inspires Paper Memory, a design that recalls sheets folded, lifted and laid down again.

Colour palette: Parchment, oat beige, pale stone grey and black.

Craftsmanship: Cut and loop pile make the broad surfaces feel like overlapping sheets; selected transitions are subtly carved.

Styling: A distinctive focal point for modern living rooms, quiet workspaces and city apartments furnished with art.

Ideal for

Living rooms · Bedrooms · Studies · Reception and lounge areas · Contemporary city apartments

Care instructions

Vacuum gently and regularly using suction only, without a rotating brush.
